Two years ago Rockwood handed over our lovely home—spotless, staged, orchid-filled, and surrounded by a beautiful garden by Sundance Landscaping.

At the outset of our project, Rockwood assured us of many things: their personal involvement to get our home underway, high quality materials and workmanship, strict financial accountability, adherence to budget and completion targets, design support, and never-ending attention to any issues that might arise in the future.

Everything that was promised has proven true. The project transitioned seamlessly from our original meetings with Allison, to the care of our wonderful project manager, Dave Furze—a master of calm and patient competence. After the handover, Dave and the delightful Rockwood team, took over our care and has been a tireless support ever since.

Shortly after moving in we had a manufacturer’s glitch with our laundry appliances on a day we were both away from home. Not only did the Rockwood team come over to meet the repairman, they also took it upon themselves to spin the laundry and pop it into the dryer for us. This kind of over-the-top care is classic Rockwood style.

One aspect of the project that was rather daunting was the myriad of design decisions required but, true to form, Rockwood had that covered. Rockwood designer, Katie Jenkins, spent countless hours walking us through the endless selection of appliances, hardware, lighting, finishes, and interior and exterior design decisions with grace and fortitude. She was a joy to work with as she calmly but firmly kept both the design timetable and budget on track, while earning her the nickname “Calculator Brain!”

Rockwood’s other staff and sub-contractors have also been friendly, attentive and competent—always responding instantly to a phone call when needed.

Every day we appreciate the lovely quality and attention to detail that make our home such a joy to live in. Rockwood truly delivers on its promises and so much more.
