Rockwood helps support children’s literacy in local Calgary community

Sometimes a great project comes along that we just can’t resist helping out with… such was the case with Children’s Reading Place. Previously a heritage house in Calgary’s Inglewood neighbourhood, today, the home is a comfortable, fun space for children to read. Moreover, it is helping to create a vibrant and connected community that values literacy and its importance.

Rockwood was a proud donor for this project and in addition to this sweet commemorative rock that graces the fireplace of the Children’s Reading Place home, we received these kind words from project director of Calgary Reads, Steacy Collyer, today: “We would not have been able to make it all possible for Calgary families without the support of Allison and her generous access to Rockwood connections!”
