Rockwood is thrilled to work with cSPACE on this unique and stand-out project—a legacy community in what’s sure to be one of Calgary’s premiere arts and cultural spaces.
cSPACE is taking the lead in redeveloping a the three-acre, inner-city site, at the heart of which will be a mixed-use, multi-tenant arts and community hub. Residential developments will then be situated on the west and east sides of the complex.
Rockwood Custom Homes is currently planning to build 21 expansive, single-level flats in the west corner of the project site. Dubbed the Residences of King Edward, the flats will be designed to appeal to a sophisticated mix of discriminating individuals looking for low-maintenance, luxury residences in one of Calgary’s vibrant, inner-city communities.
President of Rockwood, Allison Grafton, is sure that the Residences of King Edward will be very well-received when they come on the market, “The opportunity for Rockwood to take part in Calgary’s first master-planned, arts-based community is very exciting. Our vision is to create exclusive luxury flats—the Residences of King Edward—that honour the historic site while introducing modern elements that blend seamlessly with the rest of the cSPACE vision for the development. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live amidst an arts and cultural centre constructed on one of Calgary’s historic sites. Our luxury flats will have scenic views of downtown and afford its residents all the benefits of inner-city living.”
