Allison founded Rockwood in 2009 and since then has progressively grown the company through her strong commitment to quality construction, financial integrity and customer service above all. Since its beginnings in 2009, Rockwood has expanded beyond custom home construction, creating exclusive multi-home communities of living in the city of Calgary, as well as an Okanagan division.

As a proud supporter of women in leadership, Rockwood employs, mentors and empowers women, creating the necessary conditions and opportunities for women to thrive and succeed within the traditionally male-dominated construction industry.

“This year marks a hallmark for me and for my relationship with WXN as I am inducted to the WXN Hall of Fame with fellow honourees,” said Allison Grafton. “I am so thankful to WXN for introducing me and welcoming me into their fold of female leaders, and I look forward to continuing my involvement as a mentor, speaker and avid supporter of the organization.”

The Top 100 Awards serve to recognize talented leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and to inspire the current and next generation to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

“Women are not just leading companies, headlines and new deals, we’re doing so in record numbers. In addition to closing the gender gap for participation in post-secondary education and the workforce, we’re excelling at the top levels of every sector,” says WXN Owner and CEO, Sherri Stevens. “When WXN created Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards, part of the purpose was celebration. By recognizing a community of now 939 remarkable women, we get the opportunity to look back and appreciate the hard work and hurdle jumping it took to get here.”
