Allison Grafton, President of Rockwood Custom Homes Wins Top-Ranked Stevie® Award for Women in Business (Canada)
Female leaders from around the world recognized at event in New York City
Calgary, Alberta – November 19, 2016 – Rockwood Custom Homes is proud to recognize its president, Allison Grafton, who has been named a Female Entrepreneur of the Year award winner by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Allison was recognized with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Top Canadian Female Entrepreneur category on the 18th of November in New York City at the 13th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business Gala.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run, whether public or private, for-profit or non-profit, large or small. The 2016 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were during a dinner event attended by more than 500 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 1,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process for 2016.
