Rockwood Custom Homes’ President wins the Momentum Award at the 2015 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards
CALGARY, NOVEMBER 18, 2015 – Calgary-based Rockwood Custom Homes is honoured to announce that Allison Grafton, President, has been named the recipient of the Momentum Award at the 2015 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards. Presented by Women of Influence, the prestigious awards recognize the country’s leading female entrepreneurs who have made impressive and substantial contributions to the local, Canadian or global economy.
Alicia Skalin, Co-CEO and Head of Events and Programming, Women of Influence Inc., praised the winners for their dedication and drive, and for paving the way for future generations of female entrepreneurs. “We are honoured to recognize the contributions of women entrepreneurs in Canada, helping to inspire new generations of innovators and leaders,” explained Ms. Skalin.

Allison Grafton was one of six recipients celebrated at this year’s awards gala on November 26, following a record-breaking 5,000 nominees from across the country. The Momentum Award is dedicated to a female entrepreneur that has successfully overcome obstacles and capitalized on opportunities to deliver 10% or more growth, year-over-year for more than three years. Through expanded management, empowered employees, and demonstrated excellence, she has created a flexible and responsive business that is able to adapt to changing market environments and leverage opportunities for continued growth.
