Rockwood Custom Homes shortlisted for Western Canada’s prestigious Designer of the Year Awards

Rockwood Custom Homes is honoured to be shortlisted as one of Western Living magazine’s Designers of the Year in the Interior Design category. The only homebuilder amongst a host of interior design firms, Rockwood has proved yet again that its unique service offering—complete construction, architectural and interior design services—readily distinguishes this Calgary boutique builder from the rest of the pack.

The competition looks stiff with the “Who’s Who” of Western Canada’s interior designers competing for the coveted DOTY interior design award, but the Rockwood design team is up for the challenge. Said president of Rockwood, Allison Grafton, “We are all thrilled to be shortlisted by Western Living for the Designer of the Year awards. It’s wonderful to have the efforts of our interior design team—Lindsey Zugelder, senior interior designer, and project leads Katie Jenkins and Juliesa Stacheruk—recognized in such a prestigious competition. We’re eagerly anticipating the award celebration later this summer.”

Western Living is Canada’s largest regional magazine, and shares stories about people, places, homes, gardens, food and adventure from Winnipeg to Victoria and everywhere in-between. Monthly columns and departments include travel, gardening and real estate as well as food, restaurants, wine-pairing advice and more. Western Living‘s annual Designers of the Year competition celebrates the best new designs in Western Canada, as judged by Canada’ foremost designers and architects.
